About

The CCC is a group of people who have met under varied circumstances, and come together to share in the production of comics. Its founding members are Cody Drain (Soda-Sama), Ben Lewis (Zero), and Doug Wagner (Cubelarooso). They hold a large unique collaborative comic, eponymously names The Chaos Comix Clan, about the clan's "avatars" living together in a small apartment and vying for world domination (mainly soda). They also boast seperate comics authored and illustrated by the individual members, examples include: Cat Tails (Zero), the story of a large group of people and their adventures; Vidiotz (Cameron), a story about a group of friends endowed with mystical and ancient powers; Hicks on Crack (Cube), a parody of final fantasy. They try to make consistent comic and content updates to keep from drifting into the annals of dead sites on the internet.

History

October 2003 - A group of artists and spriters met, this group consisted of Cody Drain (Soda), Ben Lewis (Zero), and Doug Wagner (cube/Delta).

February 2004 - up to this point they had created many unpublished comics, at this point, them having been fans of webcomic sites such as Fireball20xl, they decided to start a group... They deemed themselves the chaos comics clan and started a website to host thier comics, "Chaos Comix", the revolution began.

Summer 2004 - Much free time led to the expansion of the site, being on low-standard webhosts, also the hiring of many new members, having about 10-15 by the end of the summer. (SFTM was stopped)

Novembver 2004 - They were invited to have a subdomain on Sly's Hang by Sly, the site name was officially changed to "The Chaos Comix Clan", having only been "Chaos Comix" up to this point, the site was up after the beggining of the new year.

february 2005 - Chaosmas, the first aniversary of the CCC as a site was celebrated, member problems started arising, around this time Soda and Zero became friends with Cameron Gibbs (CGShadow), he would later be named the third webmaster of the site and his comic was introduced to the lineup.

Summer 2005 - The site celebrated the most comic updates over several months its seen, the hits kept getting higher and higher, affiliates started coming. Due to members being stupid and inactive, alot were done away with or quit, The member list shrank to Soda, Zero, CG (CGShadow), Cube, and Random Insanity. Due to these problems, "CCC" was reduced to only a comic, Soda and Zero started a site to themselves, "Terminal: Chaos" which lasted around 2 months. The 'Story' CCC's were begun, as well as the ending of all of the old CCC's for a random section.

August 2005 - Realising the error of their ways, Soda and Zero went back to the CCC, it was moved to Pixel Freeze.

Sept. and Oct. 2005 - Pixel Freeze experienced bandwidth problems and Mynn stopped hosting, CCC moved back to Black Stealth (Formerly Sly's Hang), It crashed into the ground, they sought a new host, experiencing a down time of near a month, the site finnaly found refuge at Shadow Effect thanks to the help of Mac.

November 2005 - Having lost alot of information in the moves and site shut-downs, the comic pages were gone and had to be redone, by this point CCC was up and nothing else.

January 2006 - The site was re-built from the ground up. The progress of comics started to move at a good pace. Shadow Effect had severe problems, I decided to move to my good buddies site (Flip of Zadok0) after actually having www.ChaosComixClan.com for less than a day do to payment issues.

Summer 2006 - Weekly updates started. Comics started coming out of our asses. Our popularity started rising.

Late Fall 2006 - Good solid memberships and most keeping updates. Vidiotz Hiatus began. Muffin(julie) joined, and quickly died away.

Early 2007 - Content had fallen to anything but nil. A small plea was made by Soda for an increase in content. This call AMAZINGLY was heard, content became superfluos. Even Cameron ended his hiatus. However Vidiots was still in production, soon to be a flash series.

Early Summer 2007 - content was solid, Muffin ceased to be dead-like.

Late Summer 2007 - We regained ChaosComixClan.com, welcome to it. RagnaRoK was added with his comic ESH (I'm not typing the full name).

Early Fall 2007 - RagnaRoK caused ALOT of problems, he was ousted with 6/4 votes.

January-February 2008 - CCC Was consolidated to three main projects: CCC, Dormss, and Cat Tails. Cat Tails was restarted by Zero and Soda, splitting the work.
